Who we are
CallXell ("we", "our", "us") provides an AI voice receptionist service that answers, qualifies, and summarises phone calls on behalf of small businesses. This policy explains what data we collect when you use callxell.com or any of our services.
What we collect
- Account information — name, email, business name, phone number, and timezone you provide during signup.
- Call data — caller phone number, call duration, recordings (if enabled), and transcripts processed by our AI to generate summaries.
- Knowledge base content — any files, URLs, or text you upload to train your AI agent.
- Billing data — handled entirely by our payment processor (Razorpay/Stripe). We never see your full card number.
- Usage data — basic logs (timestamps, IP addresses, browser type) used to keep the service secure and reliable.
How we use it
- To run the AI receptionist on your behalf and deliver call summaries.
- To bill you for the minutes used on your plan.
- To improve reliability, debug issues, and prevent abuse.
- To send transactional notifications (post-call SMS, account emails). We do not send marketing emails without explicit consent.
Who we share it with
We share data only with the third-party services we need to operate, including: Telnyx (telephony), Deepgram (speech-to-text and text-to-speech), Groq and Anthropic (language models), Supabase (database hosting), Razorpay/Stripe (payments), and Vercel/Railway (hosting). We do not sell your data to advertisers or anyone else.
How long we keep it
Call transcripts and summaries are retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of any specific call at any time. If you cancel your account, we delete your call data within 30 days unless legally required to retain it longer.
Your rights
You can access, export, or delete your data at any time from the dashboard settings or by emailing us. If you're in the EU/UK, you have the rights granted by GDPR (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection).
Security
All data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access is gated by Supabase Row-Level Security. We follow industry-standard practices but cannot guarantee absolute security — no online service can.
